WELCOME TO MYSTIC ARTS

ABOUT They call us monsters. Freaks. Abominations. The cruellest things you can imagine, I am sure we’ve been called it at some point. We are most likely the most misunderstood creatures to roam these streets. Unlike some of the others who are born into who they are, many of us this was not the case. The most normal and basic on the outside we have the greatest storms. We are the Mutants. We are genetically modified humans who have gained supernatural abilities. There is history stemming back of our kind. People with unheard of powers in the past and it’s true. They have passed down the powers for years and it jumped generations before showing up again.

That being said, science has also made leaps and bounds. Unable to find these people in question there were also groups who were making their own Mutants. However - born or forced, we share the same path. Together we stand to protect ourselves from the greed of humanity. We are not slaves to fight the government's wars, and so the Council was formed. An academy was built in order to house and protect Mutants who didn’t feel safe on their own. We will not roll over and hide but we will grow and prosper in our own ways.

However this upset some of the Mutants and they grew mad. Hateful. This group is known as the Mutant Destruction Organization, or the M.D.O. They feel like Mutants are the superior race and are not afraid to speak out and cause trouble. They hate the government as well as the Council. They are both just blocks in their way to taking over. They are mostly kept in check by the Council and Hunters - but they are strongly opposed to these ideals.


With the basic introductions out of the way, we would love to know where your loyalties lie. Are you safer in groups, or do you want to watch the world burn? Then again you can always brave the world on your own as well, it’s your choice.

The Headmaster. This is the leader of the Council. This individual strongly believes in protecting Mutants and making sure that they are kept safe from those who want to use them. They are in charge of making sure that the Academy is taken care of and is always ready for newcomers to join their ranks.

The Advisor. The Headmasters right hand man. They are the first to defend the Academy and the first to discipline those who step out of line. They are a voice of reason and help the Headmaster make any tough calls. If anything was to happen they would be next in line after all.

The Council. They are wise and strong. They are the main defense if anything was to threaten the Academy. They are highly trained warriors and amazing teachers. Not only will they keep their people safe, but they will teach you how to control your powers and live a normal life. [Rank determined by the point system]

The Members. Mutants that follow the Headmasters word. They keep close so they can ensure safety. Either they keep up to date and know where the threats are or if they need it, they take shelter in the Academy itself and help keep it clean. We are as normal as we can be, and we just want to survive.

The M.D.O Leader. They are trouble in more ways than one. They are quick to get under the Academy’s skin, to agitate and shake up their plans. They are mostly just freedom fighters, wanting to see a tomorrow where they aren’t treated as monsters and they can be who they are without fear.

The Followers of the M.D.O. This group strongly believes in the propaganda that is fed to them by the leader. Some of these souls are misguided and feel like this is the right path - while others will die for this cause respectively.

The Rouges. They are floaters. People who either don’t know of either side, or would rather not get caught up in all of the drama. They live their own lives and find their own ways to survive.

PLOTS The Academy has temporarily closed their doors. We are not sure why, but no one has heard from the Council in a while. Maybe they have been hit by an attack? Perhaps they are just laying low to avoid hunters. Until we know for sure, please look out for your fellow mutants, unity is the safest way to go.
